History of the Yo-Yo Drive

In 2007, Dann was compelled to do more to help grow the love of Yo. He sold 80 percent of his yo-yo collection and purchased 50 yo-yo's. Dann graciously donated these yo-yo's to his local community and made Christmas very happy for lots of kids.

This year, teaming up Chris Allen, Dann and Chris are going to take the yo-yo drive to a whole new level with the charity of the national yo-yo community. Chris knew to make it huge, it had to involve everyone. After some investigation, Chris was able to connect the yo-yo drive to the annual Toys for Tots drive that happens in nearly every city in the nation. The yo-yo community has a goal; Flood the Toys for Tots boxes with Yo-Yo's.

To clear up any doubt or untrust, Chris and Dann have refused to accept any donations to themselves with the exception of time. The Yo-Yo Drive accepts any form or work and good will. We can make a difference in kids lives.

Why Specifically Yo-Yo's

Yo-Yo's are the greatest toy in the history of toys. Playing with a yo-yo improves Hand Eye coordination, math skills, creative reasoning, and pride. The yo-yo is universal, and instantly recognizable worlds wide. Most importantly, yo-yoing is about setting goals, working towards those goals, and accomplishing them. Let's see a Playstation do that!
